Nail Polish Review: Sinful Colors, Pinky Glitter

Hello again everyone! Today's post is going to be on one of my favorite pink glitter polishes. It's very versatile and works with many shades of pink. It's Sinful Color's, Pinky Glitter. It looks very hot pink in the bottle, but it applies a much softer light pink. I love to layer this polish with a neon pink to get a bright fun accent nail. However, it works over almost any pink color. I got mine for $1.50(2 for $3) at Walgreens, but I've seen it at Walmart as well for $1.99. They are $1.99 regularly at Walgreens as we, but they often go on sale 2 for $3 at Walgreens.

~Quick Rundown~
Sinful Colors, Pinky Glitter
Translucent jelly glitter finish
3-4 coats for opaque coverage
Doesn't chip quickly
Standard brush
$1.50 - $1.99

I consider it to be a jelly glitter. The glitter is suspended in a pink sheer jelly polish. Meaning you get some color, but you it has a translucency to it. It reminds me of those jelly shoes everyone wore when I was a little girl. It would take many coats to get an opaque color. So, instead I layer it over other colors.

Before you apply your top coat it has a sandy texture to it. That goes away with 1-2 coats of your favorite top coat. Unlike so many other glitters that no mater how much top coat you apply, you can still feel the glitter. I personally like my nail polish to be smooth, I'm not into the new trend of textured nails. I end up picking my nail polish off if it's not smooth. The picture above is one coat of Pinky Glitter on it's own, without a top coat.

The picture above is 1 coat of Pinky Glitter, over 2 coats of L.A. colors, Pink Bubbles. This is my favorite way to wear this polish. I love the bright pink glitter for spring/summer. It also works over lighter pink for a more subtle color if that's more your style.

The polish is full of small hexagonal and small square holographic glitters, as well as fine silver glitter. I read a lot of reviews saying it had gold glitter in it, but I don't see any gold glitter. What I do see is a holographic glitter that will shine orange, but I see no gold. I also read a couple reviews that this polish chipped quickly, but I haven't had a problem with it chipping.

In conclusion, I love this glitter polish, and I will repurchase it when I run out. If you have used this polish I'd love to hear your thoughts on it.  If you have any questions feel free to ask. I'd love to hear from you. Like me on Facebook to see more from me. I'm also on Instagram and Pinterest, and Twitter . Check out my other blog if you'd like to see non nail related blogs.
